Kindness, intuition,
and dedicated care.

Massage therapist—because
“bad ass miracle worker”
isn’t an official job title.

Teresa believes self-care begins by giving yourself permission to pause.

Life is full of ups and downs, and everyday activity, overuse, and emotional demands can leave us carrying tension in our bodies. Soul Balm is an invitation to step out of the hurry, share what you are looking for, and make room for yourself.

Before your session, Teresa will visit with you about your goals. She has created a relaxing ambience for your reservation at a table for one—dedicated to tending to the back, neck, shoulders, arms, glutes, legs, hands, and feet that carry you through your days.

Teresa has long appreciated the value of thoughtful touch. She began her helping-profession path in social work, then followed her intuition to massage school. She is grateful for the trust clients place in her as part of their self-care journey.

The Story Behind Soul Balm

The name Soul Balm Massage Therapy came to me during my time in massage school. While completing my clinical training, a client left a review describing my massage as “balm to her soul.” Those words deeply resonated with me and have stayed with me ever since. They captured exactly what I hoped to offer through my work—not just relief from physical tension, but a soothing, nurturing experience that reaches beyond the body. My intention has always been to create a space where people can pause, feel cared for, and leave feeling restored in both body and spirit. That is the heart behind Soul Balm Massage Therapy.

I graduated from Wellspring School of Allied Health in May 2021, completing 750 hours of massage therapy education. The following year, I expanded my training to include Ashiatsu massage, and in 2023, I earned my certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) using the Vodder Technique and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).

In July 2026, I completed an additional 24 hours of specialized training in oncology massage. Along the way, I’ve pursued numerous other continuing education opportunities to deepen my knowledge and expand the ways I can support my clients.

One of the things I love most about massage therapy is that there is always something new to learn. I believe continuing education is an important part of providing thoughtful, knowledgeable, and individualized care, and I look forward to a lifetime of learning and growing in this profession.
